John E. Folchetti, P.E. - CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Folchetti has over twenty years of experience in management, and the planning, design, permitting, construction administartion and funding of municipal and environmental engineering projects, with special emphasis on stormwater collection and conveyance, wastewater collection and treatment, potable water storage and distribution and hazardous materials management. Mr. Folchetti has extensive experience dealing with permitting and fund procurement with regulatory agencies at the State, City, County and local government levels.
He is the engineer for the Village of Brewster, a NYSDEC certified stormwater trainer and an adjunct professor at Columbia University's Center for the Environment and Research.
As a Lt. Col. (RET) with the US Marine Corps, Mr. Folchetti's strong leadership skills and extensive background ensures that a high quality of service is provided to all clients and action is taken where necessary to maintain the firm's reputation for engineering excellence and client satisfaction.
Paul J. Pelusio, P.E. – PARTNER
Mr. Pelusio has over 18 years of experience in water resources engineering. This experience has included the design of wastewater treatment plants; potable water supply and distribution systems; potable water treatment systems; sanitary sewage collection systems; analysis and design of stormwater collection, conveyance and treatment systems; analysis and design of flood mitigation facilities; watershed analysis; reservoir routing analysis; and stormwater pollution prevention plan preparation with an emphasis on design of stormwater collection, conveyance and treatment systems. Through his years of experience and vast knowledge in the application of the industry recognized hydrologic analytical tools and software modeling programs including SCS TR-55, SCS TR-20, Hydro-CAD and HEC-Ras, Mr. Pelusio has successfully delivered numerous water resource engineering projects to a diverse client base on behalf of the firm.
In additon to water resources engineering services, Mr. Pelusio has extensive experience in the planning and design of solid waste managment facilities; site planning and subdivision design; environmental permitting and regulatory agency compliance; construction inspection; cost estimating; preparation of design plans and technical specifications; project scheduling and municipal board consultation. These services have been provided to a broad range of municipal, institutional, commerical and private clients located throughout the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
Todd W. Atkinson, P.E. - PARTNER
Mr. Atkinson began his career as an engineer technican for the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers providing construction surveying, geotechnical soils evaluation and quality control inspections for a variety of large construction projects. He then moved to the civilian sector in the area of construction mangement where he acted as the project engineer and later assistant project manager on a two phase commercial renovation job valued at over ninety million dollars.
Mr. Atkinson, with over twenty years of civil engineering experience, quality control and construction management, has provided resident engineering and inspection services, construction management services, project management services and municipal engineering for major projects world wide and seves as partner and senior project manager for the firm. He is the Village Engineer for the Village of Higland Falls and the Town Engineer for the Town of Putnam Valley.
Uday K. Jinabhai, P.E. - STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
As the Senior Structural Engineer, Mr. Jinabhai provides technical direction to projects by formulating and developing advanced civil and structural engineering concepts to assist in the design, planning and review of constructablity on engineering projects. Mr. Jinabhai has over twenty years of experience successfully implementing projects from feasability investigations, planning and design, document preparation, construction administration and supervison to project completion.
Bruce Martin, P.E. - PROJECT ENGINEER
Mr. Martin serves as technical specialist and staff advisor for land development, public works and other environmental projects. His skills allow him to take a project from the conceptual design phase to final construction completion. Mr. Martin's experience ranges from private, commercial and municipal mapping; constraints mapping; sanitary and stormwater collection system design; potable water distribution design to the preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans for NYSDEC and NYCEP applications and subdivisions.
Tristan J. Larson, P.E. - CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
Mr. Larson assumes responsibilty for the administration of construction projects. He is responsible for ensuring that construction projects conform to project standards, maintaining daily reports; preparing sketches of construction installations that deviate from the plans, interpretation of specifications, materials and workmanship. In addition, Mr. Larson brings to the firm experience in the inspection of sewers, watermains, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. He is familiar with wastewater treatment plant operations and chemical bulk storage.
Larry L. Lynn, L.S. - LAND SURVEYOR
Mr. Lynn brings twenty four years of experience in surveying operations. He is the Vice President of Lynn Utilities and a member of the United States Army, Army Reserves and Army Engineer Corp. Mr. Lynn's firm has worked closely with J. Robert Folchetti & Associates on projects that involve buried, aerial and underground fiber optic cable engineering; cable arrangements and relocations; plant protection, construction supervision/inspection and permit acquisition as well as preparation of specifications.
