 JRFA has three office locations; the central offices in Somers, New York with satellite offices in Montgomery, New York and Monticello,New York. Upper Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Sullivan and Orange counties are conveniently located between New York City and the state capital, Albany. The residents of the towns in these counties enjoy spectacular views year round; sparkling lakes and rivers, beautiful mountains and hillsides which allow for countless outdoor adventures.
Equally impressive in these towns is the active participation of the residents in preserving the quality of life of their towns. They are involved with their respective town boards and committees to insure that regulations that are adopted are in the best interests of the environment, agriculture, and the safety of the town.
The locations of Somers and Montgomery to surrounding towns lend themselves to an individual's choice of recreational activities. There is something for everyone, across the spectrum--from history and the arts to parks and natural areas for camping, hiking, cycling, fishing, hunting and exploring the county wine trails. In addition, the opportunity to view minor and major league sports teams is a short drive away.
The quaintness of the towns in these counties offers a welcome change from the commercial environment of large shopping centers. Taking a leisurely stroll through town to shop and chat with local vendors is quite common. When it is necessary to shop in a larger venue, several large shopping malls are conveniently located nearby.
